It’s lovely once built but a pain in a** to put together

"It took much, much longer than anticipated to put together. If I had someone else helping and had power tools, that would have definitely helped. Some holes didn’t line up properly, some of the instructions and diagrams were unclear. I was so frustrated by the end of it! but it is a sturdy piece of furniture and looks good in my bedroom. It is a little smaller than I realised, I feel it’s designed for teens / pre-teens, maybe not adults but still functions fine."

Buy if you love a challenge!

"Awesome, makeup table, looks great once done. But dear lord, the 44 step instructions were not a great idea to start at 8. 30pm after a couple of wines! Finished at 11. 30pm and one of us is a scientist and the other an aeronautical engineer. Screws G should've been labelled as I and there were a few other mistakes, but we got there in the end. Daughter was very pleased for her birthday the next day. Product itself is great, no issues with quality."

Nice unit, a pain to assemble

"Looks good now it’s all put together but took two of us 3 hours to put together. It’s fiddly and some of the instructions were incorrect. Some screws incorrectly labelled, the drawer runners not quite in the right position. We figured it out but added to the time it took. It is a lovely unit now assembled though. Sturdy and plenty of storage for my daughter’s needs."

Painful to put together and screws missing

"It's great once it's actually put together but literally took hours - a whole bunch of the small screws are missing which meant we couldn't screw in all of the backplates at the end - had to go get more from Mitre10. The instructions for the drawer runners are incorrect (they do not go right at the end of the wood fyi! they need to be placed slightly back as the drawers don't fit otherwise) and when we figured this out the whole unit was already together and it was a mission to re screw them into the right places. On the top left drawer the front hole was too close to the front so we had to drill another screw hole there else the drawer wouldn't close properly. Total nightmare!!"
